This palm rest/trackpad protector was exactly what I was looking for. It was fairly easy to put on because, unlike many types of protectors for screens and other things, this Forito protector was forgiving in the application process. I was able to begin to apply it, lift it, and begin again a few times until it was perfectly aligned. I do recommend applying the palm protection piece before the trackpad piece as the palm protection piece, applied properly, makes an excellent precision guide for applying the trackpad protector.Lighting in my attached photo may make it appear that the reveal between the trackpad and palm rest protectors is not perfect, but, in actuality, it is as perfect as perfect can be. They protector material has a pleasant texture similar to that of the surface it protects, and the color (space gray in my case) is a very close match. I do not think there is a better protection option. I found another palm rest protector I also like, but I would have bought this Forito protector set for the trackpad protector alone.
