I just installed it today and have been using it all day. I didn't get this just to have the unit protected. I actually purchased this as I was getting too much friction using the trackpad whenever my fingers became too moist and I had read another review that indicated that this helps. So far it does. I actually enjoy resting my palms on this while typing.Installation was extremely easy. The unit is easy to peel off to readjust and rigid enough to have bubble free installation. I saw no adhesive residue when adjusting the unit.I will update this review after a month of use and then so on. I would expect the unit to last me at least 6 months at this price if not a year, but this is my first time using products like this as my previous Macs didn't have this.1 Week:It is still holding up well. I do find the track pad much more usable on my Mid-2018 MBP 15 when my hands are even slightly moist. This was definitely worth the price paid so far just for that.
