I was a little nervous about replacing the stock Ford antenna on my 2018 F 150 with a shorter antenna, but those concerns quickly dissipated. Performance was as good if not better than the factory antenna and I was very pleased. I haven't had any glitches or interference with any of my favorite stations, whether it's in the city or in the country, the stations sound crystal clear and reliable. Haven't tried this in peripheral pickup areas yet, but will update when I do. It's hard to beat a true 1/4 or 1/2 wave antenna, but the original 6 3/4 antenna will do the trick and will rarely be torn off in car washes. Overall very satisfied and recommended! Fomoco should really consider using them as an OEM.
