These will fit most brakes on most bikes and most rear derailleurs. In order to mount a rear rack on my touring bike, I had to replace a short cable on the rear cantilever brake. All I had to do was pick a decent length and cut those long spare cords. With a longer rear brake cable, I was able to easily fit a rear rack.
