As a tropical storm approached, I realized I needed a radio for my emergency kit. This matched the bill and arrived just in time. Of course we had no electricity most of the day and this radio saved our lives. The radio charges well with the solar panel and the radio signal is very clear. I think it's great that I can use it to charge my cell phone. The manual version is good too. The compact design makes it easy to take with you when traveling or to keep in an emergency kit. The light is very bright. We used it to listen to AM and FM radio. It also has a NOAA weather radio which is essential for weather emergencies. I am very happy with this radio and happy to have it for my emergency kit.
