First of all I love this line of products! I've been using it for many years. I recently used common sense and realized I could order it from Revain. Normally I would be happy about that. This time, however, I was terribly disappointed. There is a protective film on the bottle that needs to be removed before use - I agree. The snap cap has a dispensing outlet and a protruding 'cork/cork' if you wish to contain the bottle. product.This was not done for this instance. Previous use never solved the problem. This time it was a terrible mess! This snap-on lid (after opening the seal and first use) was not designed to actually close. I was on an overnight trip, used shampoo, closed the lid, packed my bag, spent all day, drove home and found that the male part of the snap cap didn't fit the female opening. In my travel bag the ENTIRE shampoo bottle was almost empty. Now I put my toiletries in the zip lock but using shampoo from the zip lock is not attractive. Removing all my other toiletries wasn't attractive and the fact that when I got home and put the container in the shower (lid down) the remaining water slowly drained out was again very unappealing. From the entire bottle, 6-8 pieces are used. If this is the future of cap making, I'd rather look for a new line of products.
