Review on Foldable Topside Engine Creeper - Traxion 3-700 ProGear For Automotive Maintenance by Dave Calabro

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not perfect but good enough

The first box arrived and I found it had all the tie straps used to hold the parts in packaging were cut and I found damaged and missing parts so I returned it. I received the replacement and upon opening the box I found all the tie straps were cut again. I sighed and inspected everything and didn't see any damage other than cosmetic. I started to assemble it and found they only supply washers for one of the assembly joints and feel they should be used on all of them so I supplied my own. The assembly was straight forward but the instructions were copies of copies which made them hard to read and see any details in the illustrations. There was so much build up of paint or coating in the threads of the weld nuts for the cable management curly cue's that they wouldn't thread in easily and felt they would break so I had to run a tap through them first. Another assembly issue was one of the pin holes for the chest pad didn't line up and I couldn't get the pin through it. So I had to open up the hole to allow it to pass. You can see the assembly wasn't welded straight not allowing the tube to sit inside the arm. After assembly and using it I am happy with it. It has a few cosmetic issues from shipping with poor packaging and wasn't perfect going together. The final product is a good piece of equipment I'm glad I purchased.
