Ready-to-use hose fitting the size of my spark plug hole does not fit (thread was dirty). I replaced the hose with my own compression test hose that had a working spark plug fitting. The rest of the unit worked flawlessly. Make no mistake. When you buy cheap tools, you get what you pay for. However, if you take your time and use the tool carefully (the way it is), it works well! If you are looking for a quality snap-on level tool, buy a snap-on tool. If you're looking for an inexpensive tool that can be used multiple times, this option is great.
