Review on ๐ง Bilstein B8 5100 Steering Damper for Enhanced Stability and Control by Prince Burr
Great products but it didn't improve my problem.
After reading the reviews I decided to see if it would reduce the bumps on my 2006 f350 drw cc 4x4s steering wheel when hitting bumps at high speed. The 5100 shocks I just put on the truck absolutely live up to their hype and my partner claims they're no longer whiplash from a shotgun. Unfortunately, the Bilstein steering stabilizer (aka damper) didn't improve ride comfort or reduce excessive steering wheel feedback. The stock steering stabilizer only had 50,000 miles on it and may still have done its job, but there was very little rebound left when it was removed.
