Review on BTU Wireless Charging Compatible Certified by David Sharma

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works as advertised but too bulky to carry.

This buffer cube works as advertised; Per plug you get three sockets, two USB-A ports and a 5W wireless charger. However, it's too big and chunky to fit comfortably in a computer bag with other essentials (like headphones and a book), and the cable is too long (6 feet) and thick to simply fold it around a cube. While everything works on the Cube, the USB-A ports are slow USB-2 ports and there are no USB-C ports, meaning you still need a charging box for your USB-C powered laptop (like a modern MacBook). The wireless charger works but is significantly slower than other wireless charging options and requires you to balance your expensive device on the cube. My iPhone 12 balances on it smoothly, but if a pet walks by or I accidentally knock the cube over, it flies away making me not want to use it. The plastic mount that came with the kit is very cheap plastic (think the battery door on a plastic toy) and the "instructions" that came with the unit are of no help. I would only recommend this if all other charging options are out of stock as you can find much higher quality products for a similar price.
