This is the second set I have ordered and they both had this problem. but now I have a 3080ti which requires three of these cables and uses a lot of power. I was playing a game and suddenly my screen went black and then my TV said no signal. I restarted my computer to no avail. After rebooting, I noticed that my graphics card was catching fire badly, as expected, and the fans weren't spinning. I knew it must be a power issue, I have a brand new PSU, so I figured those cables and the motherboard were the only likely suspects. It dawned on me as I put this together started pulling out some of these pins when I tried to connect them to the cables that came with the power supply. The first few games I had no problems, but then I realized that my graphics card would be very noisy since the fans have to work very hard even if the temperature on the card is not high. I haven't played for a while because I was playing other games on the console and the first time I played it was when the screen went black. After I removed those cables and simply plugged in the cables that came with the power adapter, the computer started up with no problems and I was able to play games again. The graphics card also worked quietly. but then i noticed that my graphics card would be very noisy since the fans have to work really hard, even if the card did not have high temperatures.
