I bought this sensor for my car's temperature control system, but it was a complete waste of money. Automotive sensors should be reliable and efficient, but this product failed miserably in both aspects. Based on my observations, the readings were often inaccurate, which led to some uncomfortable journeys in my vehicle. The only good thing about it is that it's easy to install, but that's not enough to make up for its poor performance. Save your money and look for another product.
