I just installed this on 2 3/8 axles - universal trailer for more ground clearance. I grew to about 4.5 inches. I STRONGLY recommend that you use a Di digital caliper to make sure you line up the new spring seat. The supplied mounting screws can vary by more than 1/32 (according to the instructions) and I wouldn't trust that. It may look aligned, but after using a caliper to measure it went a long way. This kit took about 45 minutes to install and that included welding in the spring seat (also highly recommended).
