These fans use a 6 pin connection to the GIM fan controller, which I wasn't aware of when I first bought the 3 pack with the controller about a month ago. No problem as you control fan speed with a very handy remote (wish all my fans had remotes) that also lets you control RGB modes (as well as a custom DIY color mode option). These things are a lot quieter than I expected and coming from pre-built factory fans - it's the difference between day and night. They don't spin as fast as my stock fans, but somehow still manage to cool my hardware even better than the faster, noisier stock fans. Less noise, lower power consumption (albeit negligible) and an even cooler system (both literally and visually ((they put on a real light showπ)) are a win in my book! Also for the price? You really can't go I got maybe not much experience with different types of fans, but I was very satisfied with my initial order of 3x 120mm GIM fans (+fan hub controller), so I bought another set of 3 to add the specified controller (which has up to ten fan headers) and I'm happy to say that GIM will be my go-to choice for future air cooling solutions for the foreseeable future! (PS - The GIM fan controller connects to your PC via a SATA connector with additional RGB Sync connection with your motherboard.Did I mention the hub also has an RGB connector?) BUY IT! :)
