It's really hard to tell on the internet what you're getting when you buy one of these number plates. Will it be a thin piece of metal with text printed on it, or just cardboard? I am pleased to report that this plate is a solid, thick plate with embossed/raised letters just like a real license plate. Well, just like a real old-fashioned plate. New real license plates no longer emboss letters! Anyway, faceplates are not required in my state so I put them on the front of my car and it looks amazing. I love it and it's very durable and I can channel my inner Johnny Lawrence wherever I go (which means I build sad puppy eyes and often look wistful).
