I really didn't want to pay too much for a stand for my Play 5 speakers as they can be quite expensive. Build quality is okay, but I wouldn't trust these stands with my speakers. The clamp doesn't hold the speaker and more or less relies on it to balance on the platform. With the help of Nanoribbon, which can be bought on Amazon. Add nanotape to all areas with EVA including the L clip. Install the Play 5 speaker onto the platform and tighten the clamp, but not too tight as the speaker could dislodge from its locked position. Add some forging powder to the speaker for a minute to make the nano tape stick together. The speaker detaches from the mount with enough force that you still need to be careful when moving the speaker simply by holding the stand by the stand. For best results, remove the EVA completely to ensure a secure fit.
