I am very happy with my order of the HomeBuddy Hand Pour Kit. It came very well packaged and in excellent condition. This is a particularly good casting kit as it includes trial versions of both alginate and plastic. This is very useful to ensure you are doing a good job with the kit. It is very convenient that this set also includes 2 buckets, a stick for the lid, sandpaper, a very nice stand and ribbons. It's a lot of fun and a great way to preserve memories. I was lucky enough to avoid clumpy alginates by using distilled water. I also made sure to cover the hand in alginate and press it into the skin before dipping the hand in the bucket. I held a small portion in my unformed hand to test when the alginate had set. Gypsum mixes very well. The instructions are easy to understand and give a good result.
