Review on 🚽 Chrome Replacement Dual Flush Valve Buttons - Fluidmaster 800P-001 by Jayme Newitt

The original part turned green and came off a bit. Cleaning attempts showed that the chrome plating had been damaged by corrosion. After 8 years I can't complain. I was happy to find this part at a very reasonable price. It was originally out of stock so it took me a few weeks to get it, but I took my time as the existing parts issues were mostly cosmetic. After receiving this part, it took about 30 minutes to exchange it. This was mainly due to the difficult dismantling of the old part, which was also heavily corroded inside the tank. The quality appears to be very similar to the old part, although it is not identical in terms of internal components. However, the top outer buttons you press appear to be identical. The new part works very well after cutting the bars to the exact length which took a few tries. I also find that the new buttons work smoother, which is probably due to corrosion on the old device starting to interfere with the buttons. My advice is to replace the knob if you see corrosion on the top knobs as it likely means severe corrosion on the internal components!
