no problem for small home appliance parts and accessories
Everything is fine with this whip. It fits perfectly on my Kitchenaid machine. I accidentally put the original whip in the dishwasher, which is not recommended for anything aluminum. The whisk itself is stainless steel, but the sleeve that fits into the mixer itself is aluminum, which isn't dishwasher safe. There is probably an undesirable chemical reaction between aluminum and dishwashing detergent.
