Review on Canvas Ballet Slippers For Women - Ideal For Yoga, Dance And Belly Practice Shoes With Split Soles by Chris Knight

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Double check the size chart and consider going up a half size as well!

I ordered my size of slippers based on the size chart provided, PLEASE look at the size chart when buying because these sizes do not translate to american women's shoe sizes, a 6.5 does NOT equal a women's 6 1/2. For example I am typically an 8 1/2, based on the chart provided a 6.5 should fit me. However I will say the shoes run small as the ones I received rub pretty harshly against my big toes. I plan on exchanging this pair for a size 7 instead and I think that will result in a better, more comfortable fit. All that being said these shoes are pretty good for a cheap practice pair. I took ballet for about nine years and these shoes are just as sturdy and well built as some of the nicer pairs I used to buy for class but for a generally cheaper price. The canvas is thick and I like the the straps and adjustable elastic in the shoes as well! Plus the split sole is very comfortable and great for flexibility. Just remember to thoroughly look over the size chart, measure your own feet, size up about half a size, and you should get a pair that fits just fine!

Pros
  • The slippers feature a suede sole patch and elastic drawstrings. The elastics are pre-attached at the heel.
Cons
  • They may not hold up well in extreme temperatures or humidity
