A grounding plate is attached to the metal mounting ring supplied. This changed the width of the aluminum ring at one point, which meant that the horn button remained flush on one side and protruded on the other side. This must be adjusted so that the horn sits flush. The unit doesn't come with any bolt adjustment tools, so you should probably buy a set of allen keys while you're on Amazon. Apart from that, the device is amazingly addictive and feels great while driving. I replaced the previous owner's generic steering wheel at an auto repair shop.
