Impressive design and performance

Most guillotine trimmers/cutters I've used in the past have had a wooden roller. It has a solid steel base. So that it does not scratch the table surface, it is supplied with four rubber feet and a practical spare part. The rubber feet slide easily into slots cut into the underside of the metal base. The presence of a metal roller allows you to secure the paper to be cut with the included 8 inch magnetic stick. Another feature I love about this paper cutter is that lowering the cutting blade also lowers the plastic rod. The rod helps secure the paper being cut and acts as a finger guard. In my experience, there are two types of trimmed and trimmed paper that are particularly difficult for guillotine trimmers/cutters. One of them is cutting cardboard or several sheets of paper at the same time. This can easily cut sixteen sheets of 20# copy paper. I also used it to cut open a box that contained facial tissues. He could easily and accurately cut two layers of this box. The second task is to cut a piece of paper that is 1/16 inch or less thick. This cutter/trimmer also handled it with ease. The self-adhesive packaging label could have been done neatly. The steel base has both millimeters and inches stamped out, but on my base the embossed ruler adds 1/8 inch to the cutting width. It's probably better to under-trim than over-trim, but it's good to be aware of that little flaw when using a cutter. In summary I found this clipper/trimmer to be a valuable and useful addition to my office as it offers good performance at a reasonable price.
