Great little mini. perfect for a variety of uses

Nice computer. Very durable. and well built. Purchased for pfSense routers. That's more than pfSense needs, but I wanted to create a repurpose option if I wanted to. By default, your computer comes pre-installed with Windows (you must provide a license). When I bought it, I noted that I prefer pfSense. The seller pre-installed the latest build of pfSense for me. Received very quickly. less than a week. I haven't had it for a long time, but so far no problems. I love this little computer. Seems a little more reliable than the routers I bought direct from Netgate. (Note: I'm not criticizing the Netgate hardware at all. I've bought several of these. This computer has much more solid physical hardware than the Netgate. That's my take. But the Netgate hardware is fine.) 4 ports are labeled WAN, LAN, OPT1 and OPT2. For those using this for pfSense, please note that these shortcuts are misleading. Instead of ports 1, 2, 3, 4, these are 1, 3, 4, 2. So if you only use WAN and LAN for pfSense, use the first port for WAN and the last port for LAN. This is the case if you leave the defined ports unchanged. I hope that makes sense. This is the only problem I had and it's not really a problem other than being a bit confusing at first. I found out where someone posted this while trying to figure out what's going on. As a previous reviewer noted, this device supports AES-NI. . which you need when using with pfSense. I plan to buy 2 more of these devices. i love her so much. You get a big hit on the dollars. It's easy to imagine buying a few more pieces from Qotom in the future. The seller was fantastic with this order.
