Best and most economical pfsense for home/office with AES-NI capable processor.

This is probably the best pfsense build in terms of what you get for your money. I replaced my AMD pfsense quad cores with it and got the same performance with a lot less power and effort. An assembly is not required. Pfsense is pre-installed. Dual Core i5 keeps up with Gigabit WAN <-> LAN, Snort, OpenVPN. Two additional Intel ports for whatever (CARP with a second and dual WAN). Warm but quiet when running. energy efficient. There are no fans. This i5 supports AES-NI, which will beโ€ฆ

Great little mini. perfect for a variety of uses

Nice computer. Very durable. and well built. Purchased for pfSense routers. That's more than pfSense needs, but I wanted to create a repurpose option if I wanted to. By default, your computer comes pre-installed with Windows (you must provide a license). When I bought it, I noted that I prefer pfSense. The seller pre-installed the latest build of pfSense for me. Received very quickly. less than a week. I haven't had it for a long time, but so far no problems. I love this little computer. Seemsโ€ฆ

Arrived DOA: Computers & Tablets

No HDMI output at all. The verified monitor and HDMI cable are working properly. trial run. Will update review if this is fixed quickly. If not, it goes back. July 24th - OMG. Found at least 1 of the issues. The RAM stick wasn't even plugged in properly. Here is QA for you. One side was 1/2 inch. Another thing I find strange. Why Windows on mSATA? What the hell? I managed to install pfsense and I seem to be in good shape. I haven't tried accessing the bios to see any configurations yet. Another

Great device for pfSense and VPN!

I bought a QOTOM Mini PC to use with pfSense and VPN. My previous Asus router just couldn't handle VPN encryption, resulting in pathetic internet speeds. Enter CAT. First of all, don't worry if you order directly from China. The processing time was incredibly fast, shipping via DHL. It was packaged very well and arrived without incident. The first impression after unpacking is that this small device has a certain weight. Very solid build quality. Of course, the main body serves as a heatsinkโ€ฆ
