Although I've had it since December, I didn't really need it until recently. I bought this for my 2015 Duramax primarily to help remove the filter after having to push it in with a screwdriver and twist slowly (thanks Chevy dealer). But the other day I had to change the oil in the women's traverse and put the filter in the worst spot. I was having trouble removing the filter so I decided to try this wrench. I had to squeeze it into the grill hole. I used two 3/8 inch extensions and even then I couldn't fully grab the filter. I took a few photos but he barely grabbed and yet he dug right into the filter and clipped it effortlessly! Duramax and worked without any problems. The thing is a must, even if there is a chance of a jammed filter at some point. You may never need it, but at least it's in the tool box! As can be seen in the photo, it is properly gripped in the filter and has not let go.
