Works great!: Meter sockets

Works without major problems, some training time, no instructions included. No overheating or other problems, full load did not exceed 2500 watts. Although the cap is set to 3840W by default (adjustable). The device was used to test other custom devices. All meters installed to order agree with the readings with this one. Before the test, the device was tested with the help of Fluke Meter friends. No problem, still used in other places where vampire devices can be found and isolated.

I like the blue backlight and find it much easier to see than my Kill A Watt meter and just as accurate. You also get full watt-hour usage when the Kill-A-Watt meter is limited to 3 digits. For example, 620 Wh on this meter is 0.620 kWh, while the Kill A Watt meter reads 0.62 kWh. The only problem I see is that it has no memory. So if you turn off the device, your readings will also be lost. That means you should keep a close eye on it and document the results as the end of the capacity test…

Great counter but the constant time function is not well documented

So the counter is perfect but I returned mine because the rep couldn't tell me what the constant time function does. I had to search the web for other counters using the exact same scheme to find it (and I had them back by then). The constant time function measures the time the device is exposed to a certain threshold load (probably a few watts, but all I know is that it exceeds 1 watt). Skylight is good for circuit breakers, load centers and fuses

I bought this particular unit a few years ago with no backlight capability and it has served me well. I decided to buy a backlit model for those who have trouble reading in dark areas around the house. Works as advertised. You can see the backlit screen from any angle, which is great.
