I like the blue backlight and find it much easier to see than my Kill A Watt meter and just as accurate. You also get full watt-hour usage when the Kill-A-Watt meter is limited to 3 digits. For example, 620 Wh on this meter is 0.620 kWh, while the Kill A Watt meter reads 0.62 kWh. The only problem I see is that it has no memory. So if you turn off the device, your readings will also be lost. That means you should keep a close eye on it and document the results as the end of the capacity test approaches. The Kill-A-Watt meter saves the last status so you don't have to keep track of it as closely.
