Fits and works, BUT.

The radiator was a suitable replacement for my 1997 1.8 liter Corolla DX with automatic transmission. It's good, except for one thing that other reviewers have also mentioned. The top two screw holes for the fan mount don't line up exactly, but that can be fixed. In particular, when aligning the fan assembly on a new heatsink, the fan assembly will make contact with the heatsink housing before the top two mounting holes can be fully installed. This leaves a small gap between the two pieces for the bolts to go through and in my case this meant that the original bolts weren't long enough to fit the nuts. FIX: You need longer screws and you can get them from under your car! I'm not sure if this applies to all Corolla models, but to even get to the lower hoses I had to remove two plastic fenders under the car. The bolts that hold them (especially the ones that also go through the bumper to the front of the car) have the same thread pattern as the fan assembly mounting bolts, only longer. You can swap them out as the original fan mounting screws are also long enough to reinstall the fenders. The only remaining problem is that after tightening the fan assembly onto the new heatsink, there is still a small gap between the screws. two pieces. If you'd like, you can first get a washer or two to fill in those gaps and then tighten the bolts. I just installed it yesterday so I won't comment on durability or reliability. Another installation tip, if you don't have anything to plug or crimp the transcooler lines to, you can use the radiator bracket screws (top of the radiator) to plug the lines during installation. Use hose clamps to clamp the bolts to completely stop the dripping.
