Good price but needs some modifications.

Just installed this on a 1994 Toyota Corolla, we'll see how it goes. The fit in the car was good, but installing the old fan was difficult. The heatsink comes with mounting nuts that must be inserted into the bracket on the heatsink frame - the bottom two fit with no problems, but the top two were very difficult to install correctly. Even after that, the old fan shroud had to be modified slightly to make it a flush fit (I think I might as well go to the hardware store for longer screws). Added…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

FITS PERFECTLY. PREMIUM QUALITY. ARRIVED EARLIER THAN EXPECTED.

I was sure the old Toyota was completely dead. Steam rose from the front. I checked the pressure cooling system and found that the plastic reservoir on the radiator was cracked. I checked locally and found several radiators for around $100. I checked out Revain and found this radiator for $65. I'm always skeptical about such a big price difference, but once again I'm pleasantly surprised. This radiator is perfect for an old 1994 Toyota Corolla. It even came with a new radiator cap. I installed…

  • Absolutely amazing!

works well good for parts

I bought this radiator for my son's 1997 Toyota with 168,000 miles. He moved from New York to California and drove cross country. Before leaving, he changed the timing, headlight assembly, went through other parts and serviced the cooling system. The OEM radiator was partially corroded and lost some of the cooling fins. The rusty radiator was fine for city driving in upstate New York, but not for off-road driving. The new heatsink seems to be built pretty well, it fell straight down, the nipple

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Fits and works, BUT.

The radiator was a suitable replacement for my 1997 1.8 liter Corolla DX with automatic transmission. It's good, except for one thing that other reviewers have also mentioned. The top two screw holes for the fan mount don't line up exactly, but that can be fixed. In particular, when aligning the fan assembly on a new heatsink, the fan assembly will make contact with the heatsink housing before the top two mounting holes can be fully installed. This leaves a small gap between the two pieces for…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So so
