Great Stand - Monitor Accessory

I finally settled on this mount after seeing negative reviews on every monitor mount/stand I could find. I decided it was better to use metal to reduce shaking and better protect my rather expensive Zowie monitor. I am very happy with my purchase, it has freed up a lot of desk space compared to the thick stand that came with my monitor. I don't actually move my monitor at all, but I was able to place it exactly where I need it and just leave it there. It was pretty easy to set up, even for someone with no prior experience. The only thing worth mentioning is that the part that controls the up/down tilt had to be tightened fairly firmly before it clicked into place. I wasn't sure if I was doing it right because it didn't seem to be moving much, but it was definitely tightening. I believe that almost all bad reviews must only come from people who have received a bad device that can easily be returned or replaced thanks to Revain's generous returns policy. It would be unfair not to give the company a chance to fix issues that many reviewers seem to have fixed. One thing I can say is that the hand is quite difficult to move when the hand isn't tied to anything, which is probably the reason for some of the complaints that it's too stiff. It's likely that some devices are actually a bit too tight, but my device is fine once I've attached it to my desk. It's still solid, but very easy to maneuver with one hand. The upper arm moves by simply pulling the monitor, but I'd manually adjust the lower one if you ever need to move it. Likewise, some reviewers simply didn't read any of the instructions and don't understand that to increase the pressure in the air manipulator, you need to tighten a screw. It doesn't need to keep the monitor out of the box, you need to adjust it according to the weight of your monitor. It's not very obvious which way the tension is loosening or tightening, but at worst you can just try both until it works. It should be noted that you will likely need about 1 inch of space behind your table to prevent your table from sliding flush with the wall when you attach it to your back. It was very easy for me to push my desk forward a little to get around it. Just make sure you consider that before you buy if you can't move your desk to make room. Also, my table is slightly curved at the back, but it's still very solid and I'm not at all worried that it won't hold up. Overall this is a very good product and I will definitely buy another one if I decide to switch monitors. If, like me, you hesitate because of bad reviews, you will certainly not regret your purchase.
