Review on ๐Ÿ’ฏ Optimized Monroe Shocks & Struts 58647 Shock Absorber Coil Spring Assembly by Steven Darkshnar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits a 2000 WJ with a 2 " lift.

Installed them on the back of my WJ. I installed 2" coil spacers. Rancho shocks were removed to fit these Monroe coilovers. The Monroe coilovers added 1-2 inches to my rear end. So now my overall height is 3-4 inches over the standard height. I added these Monroe coilovers to increase the preload for towing a heavy drawbar. weight tag. It was the best possible option for increased towing capacities. Surprisingly, day-to-day unladen mileage isn't much harsher. The extra stiffness is actually welcome for the daily commute on the freeway. Much less body roll and pitching. An overall firmer and more robust ride under hard acceleration and fast cornering. Recommend them to all WJ owners with 0-2 inches of buoyancy and don't worry about extra 1-2 inches of buoyancy. I hope this helps you decide. as none of the other reviews were as informative
