Review on Waterproof Lightweight Hunting Boots For Men By R RUNFUN by Robert Grind

Exactly What You Need for the Woods

Three reasons why I'm really glad that I ordered these. We're deep out in the country, on a stretch of land cut out of the woods. If I'm on our land, usually I'll need to wear my mud boots if we've had a hard rain. But they're not designed for comfort, insulation, anything like that. When I stroll past the treeline out to the woods, I just can't wear the mud boots. But then most of my boots for the woods aren't really waterproof (just water-resistant at best). So here's what makes these boots a winner:1. They're actually comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, no matter the terrain. I can go from walking on a concrete slab outside one of the homes on our land, along gravel roads, on branches out in the woods, low-standing water. And my feet aren't mad at me later, even after wearing them for the entire day.2. The waterproof design is on the money, considering there's a protective cover that extends up into the boot past where the laces begin. So if you misjudge a puddle and get your foot in deeper than expected, your socks are still dry as a bone. Nothing more miserable than having to slosh around with soaked socks in your boots for hours.3. Really good traction, keeps me from slipping when we've just had rain.I never heard of Runfun before. When it comes to off-brands, it's often hit or miss (usually miss). But I feel good about recommending these. Fit well, comfortable, don't kill my feet after a long day, and offers exactly what they promised as far as keeping water out. Whether you're hiking, camping, hunting, just doing work on your land, they'd make a solid choice.

Pros
  • The boots are easy to clean and maintain over time, providing long-lasting use.
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand heavy objects falling on top.
