This water is great for Bettas. This helps keep the water stable. Yes, Bettas are hardy but susceptible to sudden fluctuations in water levels. Most bettas also have smaller reservoirs, making them even more susceptible to water issues related to PH, ammonia, etc. I have found that this water also stays cleaner longer. (I'm not saying don't change the water!) I realized that instead of changing 20% of the water every week, I could do it about every ten days! Which I think is a bonus for everyone. I wish the price was a little lower (why minus one star). The company should also look at 5 liter bottles or larger bottles in general. Bettas should not be kept in tanks smaller than 2.5 gallons. So when I need to do a water change, I really need about two of these bottles.
