The Arlo Ultra 4k camera is quite a power-hungry device if you want to record 4k video. If you don't record in 4k, I don't know why anyone would buy an Arlo Ultra. So unless you plan to manually charge your camera frequently (every 2-3 weeks for me) you should get a solar charging pad. I would recommend going with Arlo as it seems better than others and less sensitive. You need to position the panel so that it gets as much direct sunlight as possible, otherwise you won't charge the camera heavily. Try to keep it out of the shade and in direct sunlight. I tried a few "compatible" solar panels from other companies and ended up returning them. Using an Arlo solar panel with a good setting for direct sunlight, I was getting a 10-15% battery charge per day. With bad setup or alternatives I only got 1-2% cooldown per day.
