This license plate pad completely met my needs. I was about to put a new plate on my 1960 AH Sprite. Using the existing bumper bolt holes would leave me with a panel that partially covered the grille, or a panel that hung low enough that it would cling to obstacles in the road. I bought one of these license plate covers and then drilled two holes roughly in the middle of the license plate so my license plate is centered on the bumper from top to bottom. Perfect solution and looks great once installed. Excellent quality product and fast service.
