I have fine hair but lots of it. It worked well when my hair was just below my shoulder. It stayed on my head and mostly left my hair dry. My hair is a few inches longer now and it doesn't work at all. At the end of a 20-yard pool length, the cap starts to pull off my head, and by the tenth mile my hair is completely wet. The quality of the material is good. With thin hair, it won't pull you in. Wash and dry inside out after each use. However, I often let my hair grow 6-8 inches below my shoulder. I think that's long hair. This cap is not suitable for this.
