I bought my first silk sleepyhead to help with hair loss that may be partly due to my CPAP use. It was twice the price of this one. I haven't dared to order online for a long time, but I decided to try. The hat appears to be well made. Just like my more expensive hat, it's made from Sharmuz silk, which means it's silky on the outside and more matte on the inside. This is due to the way silk is woven. The lid also holds well with the cpap mechanism. My head doesn't burn like the cheap elastic rags I've used. And my hair feels great in the morning when I take off my hat. It's kind of softer and silkier. I heard silk could do that, but I didn't believe it. Find out. Anyway, not sure if it helps with hair breakage or not, but it makes my sleep a lot better.
