Silence is gold for an electric door lock

The door open sensor in the original actuator/bolt assembly on my 2007 Ford Escape began disabling the passive alarm system at random times during the day which was quite embarrassing. This part fixed the problem and it wasn't really that difficult to install. It took a few hours and I was very careful. If I had to replace another one, it would take about 30 minutes.
