Revain prices beat all local auto parts deals!

Worked like a champ! My car kept beeping that the door was open, after installing a Dorman 937-641 in a 2007 Mercury Pier it worked like a factory part. Thank you Revain for an unbeatable price! Five stars. Definitely recommend Revain parts.

Silence is gold for an electric door lock

The door open sensor in the original actuator/bolt assembly on my 2007 Ford Escape began disabling the passive alarm system at random times during the day which was quite embarrassing. This part fixed the problem and it wasn't really that difficult to install. It took a few hours and I was very careful. If I had to replace another one, it would take about 30 minutes.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Annoying

Exact replacement works great but is made in Mexico

Great product and price. I would prefer Chinese quality but I think many parts are made in Mexico as well. I bought it to solve my door lock problem. The old device just didn't have enough power to lock/unlock the door. This exchange reset the lock back to the power lock. Now it works like a new car again. Very surprised by the quality of the part made in Mexico.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Not the best

Fits perfectly and fixes the problem

I bought a 2006 Mercury Mariner AWD and when I got it the horn was off. I put it back in my pocket and the alarm went off randomly and sounded its horn. Traced the actual problem back to the passenger door contact failure and it showed the door open (even though it was still closed and locked). This resulted in the alarm going off and the car being 'fixed' by the previous owner. Ordered a new door actuator, swapped it out in about 45 minutes and now all the doors work fine and now my horn works

Fits like factory, fails like factory, but faster.

Ordered June 1, 2016 - False alarms started again in very warm St. Louis in November 2018. The problem with this is that I like my 2005 Escape (Hybrid 4x4) too much. When it works, it gives me cargo space, room for people (I'm 6ft 2in) and nimble driving to handle traffic and downtown STL well. When the alarm goes off because the sun hits the right (passenger) tailgate and it gets too hot, I want to role-play it. It's not too practical to live where I live, but the contentment would be nice…

Pros
  • Great Selection
Cons
  • Doubtful

No more hassle with a door ajar - as long as it doesn't fail!

Ford Escapes frequently report faulty door ajar sensors causing false alarms and battery drain. I determined which door had the faulty sensor by rolling down all the windows and locking the car with the remote. After about 30-45 seconds, reach the window and open the doors from the inside, the door where the alarm didn't work is broken. Replacing this part isn't difficult, just a little dismal. Watch YouTube videos on the subject and you'll know about 90% of what you need to do. The only…
