my four month old kitten loves it. My first impression was that it wouldn't last long, it didn't look sturdy. But my kitty has suffered a lot, including walking with paws on the net, and there are still no holes. When I opened it, she immediately came in, took her favorite toy and played. She climbs or even jumps onto a stretcher (last weight check was 7.5 pounds) and is still standing. I've made two trips to the vet in a stretcher and she doesn't make any noise or fuss while I ride like she did with a hard stretcher. I think the fact that it's a grid and being able to see everything around it makes it more relaxed. I put my seat belt on with no problem, it didn't move while driving. I like the shoulder strap, it feels secure and the carry strap keeps its shape when using the shoulder strap. I like the detachable pad, it's easier to clean. It's perfect for now, but when she grows up, unfortunately it won't be big enough. When she stretches, her paws come out of the stretcher. If you have a normal sized small cat or a very small toy dog, that's fine. But if you have a maine coon, big cat or large breed puppy I wouldn't recommend it. Eventually you will need to find a larger carrier.
