While these panels are great for paintings I purchased these artist wood panels as part of a photo mosaic for my beloved Chihuahua who passed away in December. The fact that these panels can be used to draw or take photos on the so-called front of the panel by rotating it makes the perfect shadow block for photos or paintings. The depth is perfect and gives a great contrast when using the front for one box and the "shadow box" side for the other. Love the quality of the wood - it's smooth and I think the decals in the corners of the picture look great on the wood and stick well. You can use them for more than just paintings or photographs, they can be used for many different things - a box to put your keys and other things in when you get home, a healing sandbox base that you can use with a . .. small sun lounger and a parasol and/or a box to store small parts when you are building or working on something. The possibilities are endless and I highly recommend these wood panel artists. What creative ideas will these boxes evoke in you?
