Review on ORACAL 651 Permanent Adhesive Backed Cutters by Tara Ford

I made two separate vinyl purchases: a roll of this product and a 12" x 12" sheet set. Both were advertised as Oracal 651 permanent vinyl. One of the main uses I intended for the vinyl was to use it with my Silhouette Cameo for screen printing onto fabric. Long story short, this product didn't stick to the screenprint like a real 651 should. The vinyl wrapping worked like a charm. Read on for details. Oracal 651. As other reviewers have noted, it only comes with a product barcode sticker holding the roll together. - Properties: sticks well but definitely not permanently; it's more like a sticker. I can easily remove it from plastic surfaces. FOR USE WITH SCREEN PRINTING: This product will not stick to the screen printing if attempted to separate from the transfer tape. It was a nightmare to detach the vinyl from the transfer tape and attach it to the screen print. The two star rating is based on availability and usability for specific limited projects where permanence is not required. If you are looking for a stronger adhesive, pass this product on.
