Thin Sheet Stamp - Works well
These fasteners are made of coated sheet metal (steel) and are very thin. Each piece is stamped and the swingarm is secured with a rivet. They look good and work well because they're so cheaply made (which is reflected in the low cost). The supplied screws (with sheet steel) fit the holes and work just as well, but it's very easy to break the latch (because they're hollow punches) when assembling with the screw, so be careful when tightening. Used for a small storage box so they work but in my opinion they don't fit in a well made jewelry box.
