Gets the job done quickly
My small 600 gallon pool was my COVID bust to make my summer lunch breaks more comfortable. Now it's time to put it away as the weather is turning bad in Chicago. I bought a 1.6hp Lanchez flat water jet pump to drain quickly. It was easy as pie, taking less than an hour to fully divert the water to the nearest sewer. Next season I want to use the pump as a rain pump to water my roof garden. My pump's third job over the next year will be to circulate the pool water through a solar heater, which will be about 300 feet of rolled Plexiglas tubing, which will also be heated behind glass on my patio. The Stanley 1" Quick Disconnect Transfer Hose with 1" dual male threaded brass adapters made installation, use and disposal easy.
