I usually use one of these little irrigation pumps about every two years (heavy use and admittedly poor maintenance on my part). I usually pay between $150 and $200 for similar modules. This pump performs just as well, if not slightly better than the more expensive units I have purchased. I intend to buy another one to have in the shed as a backup. If you have a shallow well that you use for irrigation, I would definitely recommend this pump.

At one point it was very frustrating not to find a suitable adapter for a working pump! I had to go through a few hardware stores to find them; I finally found what I needed in a very specialized store! I strongly recommend including some options in the package even if it increases the price, I'd rather spend there than go shopping! So it requires 40 feet of vertical buoyancy from the lake shore and about 150 feet of garden hose.
