Red and black wire makes it difficult to misconnect
This is 14 gauge wire, black and red. It's very well made and great for connecting speakers to my stereo in my old truck. Unlike most people, I don't always use the product right away. I am disabled but they immediately asked for a review. That's the best I can do. I prefer to wait before using the product but I can tell you again this is a quality cable and I would recommend it to anyone and it can be used in a wide variety of electrical wiring applications. This leaves no doubt as to which wire is hot and which is grounded.
