Review on Topeak TT2524 Ratchet Rocket Lite by Michael Hall

I know this item was originally intended for quick bike repairs but I love carrying this EDC item around in a small kit! This fits very nicely in my Maxpedition Fatty (minus 2 tire levers which are not needed in my kit) and takes up very little space! This will do any little job you might come across. In addition, it is compatible with many other elements, which makes this ratchet universal. The Leatherman Accessory Set is a great addition to the Ratchet Rocket as it contains all the useful accessories you could possibly need. Today I even ordered a Victorinox extension (yes it's compatible) for this ratchet http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UON5JU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00. The ratchet on this thing is so smooth! The bit is changed by simply pulling the bit out of the ratchet and inserting a new bit. The metal on the tool itself is about as good as can be given the incredibly small size of the ratchet - yes, it's that small, about the size of a palm! This is not something that can be used for very tight bolts. However, it is more than capable of doing what it was designed to do and then some. I bought mine two months ago for less than $20. It looks like the price has increased to around $27 now. I could still buy at that price, but I like the $20 price point a lot more.
