Definitely saves me a lot of time in the kitchen. I was excited to try this. I really like it and will use it a lot. We like to eat and eat a lot of salads. But I tried 2 knives and both were not suitable to cut a tomato 100% completely. BUT there is still hope, the tomato turned into a little spiral and I thought it was pretty cool. It's not hard, but it's not easy either, so be careful not to drop it on your toe as it might hurt. You can use it for fruits and vegetables. I recommend using a sharp knife, a dull one may not cut as well. This would be great if you are hosting BBQ parties. Give to someone as a wedding present. My daughter saw it and now she wants it. She also makes many salads at home. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
