You will need them

If you work on modern brakes. The kit got the job done with ease. There are different types of manufacturer brakes, including all additional brake styles, including additional tools. The instruments were of unexpected quality in this price range. For a few bucks more, I decided to use this kit instead of the ratchet square bar brake tool, which is the only other option I know of for the job. Even if your shop is anything like mine, this neat and tidy set will be a lot easier to find when you need it, given that I know it would take me an hour to rummage through toolboxes to assemble this square contraption Find; ) The quality of the set makes the choice in favor of a square tool obvious. Also, the machine we're working on today may not be the one we're working on tomorrow. I like the idea of having the tools I need for future work. The tool can be a little annoying to use, it's meant to be and it may pop out of its slots a few times, but hold on tight, it'll get the job done. Of course I didn't use it with pressure most of the time. I've used it freehand (simply because I could), but at some point it's wise to use it the way it's meant to be used, with the appropriate pressure on the caliper piston when turning. It's a bit slower, but doesn't slip out of the slots as much :) Also, the last few millimeters of internal travel require piston pressure if you want it to be pushed all the way in. (And you do if you want a smooth install.) Get this kit. It's a great addition to your do-it-yourself toolbox. You can thank me later :)
