Compare to a standard hose that you remove before you even try to install it! I didn't and wasted Saturday because of it. I changed the engines in less time. I believe the packaging may have caused the tubing to be bent differently than stock. However, the price can't be beat, replacing similar-looking A/C hoses costs about a quarter of the price, if not less. I have a feeling the engineers looked into this because yes it can easily be bolted to the subframe before the subframe is bolted to the car. Maybe it's okay if you get a ride, but my body paid for it by bouncing on the jacks under the van. Another tip, just cut the old hose on the rack to remove the flange bolt with a 14mm hex socket as it will fit snugly there.
